Del has been the lead pastor at Salem First since 2009, after previously pastoring churches in California and Alaska. His education includes degrees from Azusa Pacific University, Fuller Theological Seminary, McCormick Theological Seminary, and Jesuit School of Theology/Santa Clara University. Del and his wife, Donna, who is a middle school counselor, have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and two beautiful grandkids. He has a passion for congregational transformation, discovering new ways to relate faith in the timeless claims of the gospel to our ever-changing culture, and helping others embody God's extraordinary love. He is passionate about preaching, teaching, spiritual discernment & direction, and making sure life is filled with laughter. When he's not at work, you can find Del riding his motorcycle, wine tasting with friends and family, backpacking, beach combing, or reading.

Audrey has been a part of the Salem First staff since 2007. She loves people and enjoys getting to work doing something she loves. Audrey was raised in California and was a championship dancer when she was younger. She is a Nevada Wolfpack fan, loves movies and Disney stuff. Married since 1987, she has two daughters and a son-in-law, and is looking to adopt a new fish.
Ashley has been an amazing addition to the staff, joining in the summer of 2019 after graduating High School. She was a leader and a member of our youth programs for the past several years and is extremely excited to be able to provide experiences for others that she found the most impactful in her youth. She is a lover of all things cute and cuddly with a love for Disney with a specific love for Frozen 2 at the moment.
Maureen started working at the church in 1990. She married her high school sweetheart, raised three children, delights in her nine "perfect" grandchildren, and regularly walks with a group of friends who call themselves the "slugs". When Maureen isn't working, you can find her camping, reading, knitting, or on the beach with her friends or family.
Sharon is a longtime member of Salem First and has been using her amazing skills in the kitchen to serve since 1996. She has a degree from California State University and is a U.S. Navy Veteran. Sharon has five special grandkids that she takes joy in spending time with. In her quiet moments, Sharon may be found enjoying a good book and/or chocolate, preferably together. She also thinks the color burgundy is quite swell.
